Book of Trades Intarsia Wood Inlay Table Mats/Placemats

The subjects of these Intarsia wood inlay table mats/placemats are taken from the Book of Trades by Jost Amman a German scholar of the sixteenth century. The woodcuts as they were originally designed however date back to the 14th. and 15th. century.

Smaller set of 6 mats 7.5" x 7.5" in a Walnut Box £ 1150.-
